they're our rival but I genuinely feel bad for the kid. first his shoulder then his knee and now the same knee again. he's been snake-bit it appears. he may really struggle to ever fulfill his potential now.
it will be interesting to see how our old buddy shaun hill does for them.

Seriously, though.. sucks for Bradford. That guy can't get a break (or, rather, he gets them too often).
I think it's safe to say he's injury prone. Can't see him getting more than a 'show-me' contract when he does recover, given all the injuries he's suffered. Jeff Fisher is a pretty loyal guy, so I could see him still bringing him back to compete next year, but the Rams clearly need to draft a new QB.
The Rams were going to be predicated on defense, anyway, so I don't know that they are necessarily 'done.' Aaron Donald looks pretty good, and Michael Sam has probably earned himself a role on the team with his pre-season, as well. Shaun HIll will likely be asked to run the offense similarly to how Alex Smith was asked to run the 49ers offense in 2011 (conservatively). The division is a lot tougher than it was in 2011, obviously, but I don't think Bradford being done means the Rams are necessarily. I would not overlook them, in any case. That D is going to be nasty if Donald adds what he looks to be adding.
Shaun Hill, through his career, has basically played at an approximately average level which means that career-Hill is not much of a downgrade from Bradford. Of course, Hill is getting older (as are we all) so it's fair to wonder if career-Hill is still what he is today. It'll be interesting to see.
