Ladarius Green,TE from Louisiana-Lafayette. 6'6" 230, ran a 4.53 with explosive burst as was said to "stand out as one of the more polished route runners." Green may be an interesting player. 6'6" and 230 could be a match-up nightmare and a very good red-zone target, him and Davis would present big problems. 4th or 5th rounder?
Another Hurricane RB who is going to be an NFL star. Lamar Miller, 5'11", 212 and ran a blistering 4.38 and has very good hands. Robert Turbin, Utah State, ran very well for his size as well. 5'10" 216. 4.44. Built like a freakin Brinks truck.
Actually the updated times had Miller at 4.40, which was fastest at the combine for RBs.
Miller is a stud....don't think the niners go RB, but who knows. I know everyone is saying that the niners WILL go wr or cb, but with Baalke....who knows....he could take a NT in the first round or a pass rusher and it would't surprise me.....he strikes as a guy who truly goes after best player available. The thing is that he has proven that if he has a guy he loves that he will move up to get him if its within reach. Wonder who he loves this year....Davis was his love, Kaepernick was for Harbaugh.....this year...who knows?
I agree, the Niners probably won't go RB.....but if they did, Doug Martin is a Frank Gore CLONE, i swear. Would not be disappointed if they picked up "the next Gore" in 2nd... Not promoting that, but just sayin'
I agree....if the best player is a NT then they will pull the trigger....if its a WR then they'll do it wouldn't surprise me if they chose ANY position at #30. The only thing is if Baalke has a player that he loves that is within reach once they get to the 20s....wouldn't be surprised if he moved up for someone he loved.
