On the plan for this week: I don't know. I'm just going to find out when you find out. When I get called, I'll get ready to go.
On what receiving spot he's most comfortable: I'm comfortable everywhere, to be honest with you. The slot outside (seems to be his best opportunity to play).
On what makes him a good slot receiver: That's kind of a dirty question (laughs). I'm just trying to learn and help the team any way I can and go that route with it.
On short-area quickness being important for a slot receiver: I just play ball, man. I don't get too caught up in that. I just go out and do my thing.
On returning kicks: Punt returns? I've been doing a little bit. Kick returns too. I've been practicing kicks, punt. I'm trying to make my resume as long as it can be.
On having family in the St. Louis area: Oh, definitely. They call every week. It doesn't matter where they are. They could be in Europe, they're going to be there. Oh, man. If I'm playing, they're going to be there – my mom, my dad and my sisters.
On when he'll know if he'll be active this week: I usually have some kind of sense by the end of the week, like by Friday. As of right now, I couldn't tell you if I'm playing or not.
On what has been preventing him from playing so far this season: You have to ask Jim Harbaugh. I don't know. Your number has to be called. I don't worry about it.
On playing with Colin Kaepernick: Me and Kap are really close. He did some of the things I did at Oregon at Nevada. I think he's an athletic quarterback, obviously when he has the ball, he makes plays. If I get the opportunity to play with him, I think it'd be fun.
On when he'll find out about playing against the Rams: I have no idea, that's up to the coaches. Probably (will find out) Sunday during the game.
On punt returns being an emphasis for him: I'll do anything to help the team win. Even if that means being on scout team another week or the rest of the season. Anything to get the team a win, I'm all for it. I want to be a team guy, I'm a rookie, I'm young, I'm still learning. I'm just blessed to just have the opportunity to even be on the team so I'm happy.
On the last time he hadn't played football: Obviously, I want to be on the field, I'm a competitor. I want to go out there and play and compete, but I'm smart enough to know I still need to learn. This is the NFL, this is a complex offense and there are a lot of things that I don't know. I just take it for what it is and try to get better every day.
On how close he is to being game ready: In my mind, I feel like I can go out there and play any day. I feel like I can make plays against anybody. That's the competitive nature in me, but it's probably different from the coaches, I don't know.
On where he's improved the most: I feel like everything. Being more experienced, watching from the sidelines, being in practice and learning how to be a professional.
