Davis missed the last two weeks after sustaining his knee injury in Week 3's blowout loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He practiced this week as a limited participant with a brace on his knee. He didn't travel to New York last weekend, instead getting extra days of treatment back at the team's facility in Santa Clara.
"I'm doing really well," Davis said this week. "Had a chance to explode off the ball and get back to myself. Those two days really helped me out. I'm looking forward to this week."
In three games this season, Davis has eight catches on 15 targets for 109 yards and no touchdowns.
Hyde missed practice this week while dealing with a foot injury suffered in last week's game against the Giants. He came into the week as the NFL's seventh leading rusher 375 yards and three scores.
"His foot is sore, so they put an orthotic in there and I know you’ve got to get used to wearing the orthotic," head coach Jim Tomsula said Firday. "(I) fully expect him to play and those things, but I know we have to manage it.”
Bush will miss his third game of the year after aggravating his calf injuries in last week's loss. He initially sustained the injury after just two carries in the season opening win over the Vikings. The 49ers back up running backs will be rookies Mike Davis and Jarryd Hayne.
And after missing last week's game to attend funeral services for his sister, outside linebacker Ahmad Brooks will play, as expected. Receiver Bruce Ellington will not play after suffering a calf injury during practice, allowing undrafted rookie receiver DeAndrew White to play.
