Five questions with Sinorice Moss
Q. Do you feel the play of Steve Smith and your brother last season helped your draft status and those of other undersized wide receivers? Moss: That's been a big thing all year. My brother and Steve Smith, they showed out this year. They showed that little receivers can go out there and make plays, no matter how tall you are or your size, or whatever. I feel like that kind of helped me this year. I went out there and played to the best of my ability. It doesn't matter about my size. I'm going to go out there and play football. It starts with playing football, so I'm going to go out there and continue to work hard, continue to run fast and catch footballs and score touchdowns. Q. Are you ready to take the next step to the NFL? Moss: Yeah, I'm ready to take it to the next level. I had a good experience (at the Senior Bowl) being in Alabama with all the coaches and the NFL teams all around me. I feel like I'm ready for it. Q. Did your brother tell you anything about what to expect at the scouting combine? Moss: He really didn't say too much about the combine, just when I go out there just handle my business and do what I have to do. Q. Did you feel you opened some eyes with your performance at the Senior Bowl? Moss: Yes, I feel like I opened some eyes. On a big stage, I really showed up for it. I went out there and had a real productive week. I worked hard all during the week and I was real productive. Q. Do you have a friendly wager with your brother on whether you will be drafted earlier than he was? Moss: Nah, we don't talk about that. It really doesn't matter. Just being drafted is an honor. There's a lot of guys that's played football and entered the draft and never been drafted. Just being drafted is an honor. It's just an honor of being drafted, of being recognized as one of the top football players in college. It's not really on who goes higher, or who went first or who did this. Just being able to be drafted and to be on an NFL team is great.
