Quick-hit game notes from the 49ers' convincing 31-13 blowout of the Detroit Lions on Sunday at Candlestick Park in San Francisco.

--- WR Isaac Bruce played in the 200th game of his career. His 200 games are the most of any current NFL receiver.

--- Bruce scored his first touchdown as a member of the 49ers on a six-yard pass from QB J.T. O'Sullivan in the first quarter that began the scoring.

--- RB Frank Gore had his 13th career 100-yard rushing game and first of the 2008 season after finishing with 27 carries for 130 yards and a 4.8-yard average. Gore also caught four passes for 32 yards and finished with a game-high 162 yards from scrimmage. Gore now leads the 49ers with 287 yards rushing, 13 receptions and 412 yards from scrimmage.

--- The 49ers are 10-3 when Gore has a 100-yard rushing game.

--- Gore has a rushing touchdown in each of the 49ers first three games. He scored his third touchdown of the season on a four-yard run in the second quarter that boosted San Francisco's lead to 14-0.

--- Gore's 33-yard run in the first quarter was his second "explosive" play of the year (a play of 20 yards or more). He scored on a 41-yard run in the season-opener vs. Arizona (9-7). Gore also had a 20-yard run in the third quarter for his third "explosive" play of the season.

--- CB Tarell Brown registered his first NFL interception when he picked off a QB Jon Kitna pass in the third quarter.

--- 11-year veteran CB/PR Allen Rossum played the first offensive down in his career and scored on a one-yard run on an end-around on fourth-and-one from the Detroit one-yard line in the fourth quarter. It was Rossum's eighth NFL touchdown. He also has three punt returns and four kickoff returns for touchdowns.

--- The only other time in 49ers history that a defensive back scored an offensive touchdown was when CB Mike Holmes caught a 24-yard pass from QB Norm Snead on October 26, 1975 at New England.

--- WR Arnaz Battle had an 18-yard run on a reverse in the first quarter to tie the longest run of his career. He also had an 18-yard run at Seattle (12-14-06).

--- The 49ers scored 33 points last week at Seattle and 31 points today against Detroit. It is the first time the 49ers have had back-to-back 30-point games since the 2003 season when they won 30-10 vs. St. Louis (11-2-03) followed by a 30-14 win vs. Pittsburgh (11-17-03).

--- With his 130 rushing yards, Gore passed QB Steve Young (3,581) and RB Kevan Barlow (3,614) to move into seventh place on the 49ers all-time rushing list with 3,692 yards for his career. HB Hugh McElhenny is sixth with 4,288 yards.

--- O'Sullivan has had back-to-back quarterback ratings of over 100 after finishing with a 123.3 rating against Detroit (23-16-189, 2 TDs) and a 106.4 rating last week at Seattle (32-20-321, 1 TD). O'Sullivan now has a quarterback rating of 104.6 for the season.

--- O'Sullivan also rushed for 32 yards and now is second on the team with 65 yards rushing this season.

--- LB Manny Lawson was back in the starting lineup after being relegated to special teams duty last week at Seattle when the 49ers opened in a nickel situation.

--- Rookies CB Reggie Smith and G Chilo Rachal were active for the first time. Smith played in his first regular-season game. Rachal did not play in the game.

--- O'Sullivan (offense), S Michael Lewis (defense) and PK Joe Nedney (special teams) served as game captains.
