Redlick comes to San Francisco after eight years with the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association. Redlick will be responsible for business development including corporate partnerships, luxury suites, signage, broadcast and new media, and he'll also be instrumental in marketing developments for the team's new stadium.
"Mike Redlick is a well respected industry professional," 49ers chief operating officer Andy Dolich said. "His skill set will be extremely helpful as we develop our marketing and naming rights plan for our new stadium. Mike's experience in the corporate development sector will add great value to our business operations team."
While with the Grizzlies, Redlick served as executive vice president of business operations, overseeing the corporate partnerships, broadcast sales, marketing and community investment departments. He also worked closely with all revenue generation aspects of the Grizzlies and FedExForum by establishing and maintaining relationships on national, regional and local levels.
Redlick originally joined the Grizzlies when the franchise arrived in Memphis in July 2001. He quickly became an integral member of the organization's design and development of FedExForum, including his negotiation of all marketing and advertising elements of the naming rights agreement for the venue.
Redlick has previous NFL ties. Formerly a senior director at SFX Sports Group, Redlick worked on-site in tandem with the Cleveland Browns staff to market the return of the team to the NFL along with its new venue, Cleveland Browns Stadium. Redlick's experience also includes corporate sales for the Cleveland Cavaliers, coordinating sports sponsorships for Key Corp and directing the 1997 NBA Jam Session Key Volunteer Team.
