Buffalo Bills cornerback Terrence McGee has restructured his contract, reducing his base salaries to $1.35 million and $1.75 million over the next two years, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.
The deal includes a $300,000 signing bonus.
McGee was previously slated for $3.6 million and $4.6 million base salaries over the next two years.
His new reduced salary-cap figures for 2012 and 2013 are $3.78 million and $4.35 million.
McGee previously had salary-cap figures of $6.3 million for 2012 and $7.2 million for 2013.
His contract now averages just over $2 million per year over the next two seasons.
McGee has been dealing with injuries over the past few years, but has intercepted 17 career passes since joining the Bills nine years ago.
