Mario Williams Profile
Houston Texans free agent defensive end Mario Williams is visiting the Buffalo Bills today.
Team executive Russ Brandon announced the visit on Twitter and the Bills also posted a photograph of the consensus top pass rusher arriving in Buffalo with general manager Buddy Nix.
The Bills are also scheduled to host New Orleans Saints wide receiver Robert Meachem.
Meacham caught 40 passes for 620 yards and six touchdowns last season.
The speedy 6-foot-2, 210-pounder from Tennessee has caught 141 career passes for 2,269 yards and 23 touchdowns.
The former top overall pick of the draft, Williams is regarded as one of the best five free agents and is an accomplished pass rusher.
The 6-foot-6, 283-pounder finished last season on injured reserve with a torn pectoral, but had five sacks and a forced fumble in just five games while lining up at outside linebacker in defensive coordinator Wade Phillips' 3-4 scheme.
For his career, Williams has 241 tackles, 53 sacks, 10 pass deflections and 11 forced fumbles.
