David Garrard Profile
Miami Dolphins quarterback David Garrard's one-year contract is worth $3.35 million and has a maximum value of $4.85 million if incentive clauses for playing time, touchdowns and wins are triggered, according to a league source.
Garrard received a $1 million signing bonus, a $2.25 million base salary and a $100,000 workout bonus.
Garrard was sidelined all of last season with a herniated disc in his back that required surgery.
Garrard, 34, was released by the Jaguars last summer as he was due roughly $8 million.
In nine NFL seasons, the 6-foot-1, 236-pounder from East Carolina has passed for 16,003 career yards for 89 touchdown passes and 54 interceptions on 61.6 percent accuracy for an 85.8 quarterback rating.
