The NFL has expanded offseason rosters to 90 players from a previous limit of 80 players, the league announced today.
At least temporarily, this creates 320 additional jobs around the league.
However, the 90 players includes active, inactive, practice squad, roster exempt, reserve lists, unsigned draft picks and franchise players who haven't signed their tenders.
The roster expansions can start at 4 p.m. ET Tuesday.
NFL teams still have to get down to 75 players after the third preseason game.
The management council executive committee chaired by John Mara agreed to the new roster limit today, according to league spokesman Greg Aiello.
