The San Diego Chargers have signed three free agents: strong safety Corey Lynch, punter Robert Malone and tackle Phil Trautwein.
Lynch was a sixth-round Cincinnati Bengals draft pick four years ago.
He spent his rookie season and part of 2009 with the Bengals prior to spending the last three seasons in Tampa Bay. His career totals include 53 tackles and three interceptions on defense and 37 stops on special teams.
Lynch had 25 tackles and an interception in 2011, while tying for second on the Buccaneers with seven special teams stops.
Malone played for Tampa Bay two years ago, averaging 41.5 yards per attempt on 52 punts. He landed 17 punts inside the 20, had only five touchbacks and a long of 64. He was released by the Buccaneers in 2011 before the regular season started but later punted in one game for Detroit as an injury replacement for Ryan Donahue. He averaged 49.0 yards on five punts Nov. 13 at Chicago.
Trautwein is a 6-6, 310-pound tackle who played in four games for St. Louis in 2009 after being signed off Cleveland's practice squad. Trautwein spent the final eight weeks of the 2011 season on New Orleans' practice squad.
