The playoff implications remain relevant for the Ravens following their bitter 23-20 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
If the Ravens defeat the Washington Redskins on Sunday at FedEx Field and the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals both lose, then Baltimore clinches the AFC North title for the second consecutive year.
If the Ravens defeat the Redskins and the Steelers lose or tie this weekend, the Ravens make the playoffs.
If the Ravens win and the Cincinnati Bengals lose or tie, Baltimore makes the playoffs.
And if the Ravens tie and the Steelers lose and the Bengals lose, Baltimore makes the playoffs.
While the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos have clinched their divisions and the Houston Texans have clinched a playoff spot, the Texans can clinch the AFC South with a win plus a loss by the Indianapolis Colts or a tie.
They can also clinch with a Houston tie plus an Indianapolis loss.
The Texans clinch a first-round bye wth a Texans win plus a Colts loss or tie plus a Ravens loss or tie.
Or if the Texans win plus a Colts loss or tie plus a Broncos loss or tie.
The Texans clinch home-field advantage throughout AFC playoffs with:
A Texans win plus a Colts loss plus a Ravens loss plus a Broncos loss.
In the NFC, the Atlanta Falcons have clinched the NFC South.
They clinch a first-round bye with a Falcons win plus a Chicago Bears loss plus a Green Bay Packers loss or tie.
Or a Falcons win plus a San Francisco 49ers loss.
Or a Falcons tie plus a Bears loss plus a Packers loss.
Atlanta clinches home-field advantage throughout NFC playoffs with: a Falcons win plus a Bears loss plus a Packers loss or tie plus a 49ers loss.
San Francisco clinches a playoff spot with:
A 49ers win plus a Dallas Cowboys loss plus a Minnesota Vikings loss plus a Tampa Bay Buccaneers loss plus a Washington Redskins loss plus a St. Louis Rams loss or tie.
Or a 49ers win plus a Dallas loss, plus a Vikings loss plus a Tampa Bay loss plus a Redskins loss plus a Seattle Seahawks loss or tie.
