On Wednesday, the Kansas City Chiefs announced two more additions to their coaching staff.
Joining Andy Reid in Kansas City are offensive line coach Andy Heck and assistant special teams coach Kevin O'Dea.
"We are pleased to announce the addition of two more good football coaches to our staff. With Andy and Kevin we have added two experienced leaders to the group," Reid said in a press release issued by the organization. "We are close to having the full staff in place which will allow us the opportunity to all get ready for the 2013 season."
Heck has been an NFL assistant coach for 22 years, spending the last seven with Jacksonville. O'Dea was last with the Chicago Bears, where he was serving his second stint with the club.
These hires were announced a day after the Chiefs brought on special teams coordinator Dave Toub and assistant offensive line coach Eugene Chung. The Chiefs also decided to retain linebackers coach Gary Gibbs and defensive backs coach Emmitt Thomas.
