Spencer Ware Profile
LSU junior running back Spencer Ware is visiting the Arizona Cardinals today, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.
He has previously visited the Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots.
He has worked out for the Patriots, participated in the Cincinnati Bengals' local prospects day and had a dinner meeting with the St. Louis Rams.
He didn't work out at the NFL scouting combine or Pro Day due to a left hamstring injury, but is scheduled to work out Friday for NFL teams at LSU.
Several NFL teams have displayed interest Ware, a 5-foot-10, 228-pound power back.
Ware worked out for Patriots running backs coach Ivan Fears on Monday along with LSU running back Michael Ford and wide receiver Russell Shepard.
At his campus Pro Day workout, he bench pressed 225 pounds 17 times and had a 35 1/2 inch vertical leap, a 9-11 broad jump, a 4.27 20-yard shuttle and a 7.28 three-cone drill.
Ware led the Tigers in rushing in 2011, but had 91 carries for 358 yards last season.
As a sophomore, he rushed for 707 yards and seven touchdowns and was a second-team All-Southeastern Conference selection.
