DeAngelo Williams Profile
Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams has restructured his contract, according to an ESPN report.
The new deal adds two years to Williams' deal and frees up $3.2 million in cap space for 2013. Williams' base salary was cut from $4.75 million to $850,000.
It was speculated that the Panthers could trade Williams this offseason but that doesn't appear to be the case anymore with the restructured deal.
In 2012, Williams ran for 737 yards and five touchdowns. For his career, Williams has run for 5,784 yards and 43 touchdowns.
