KEYS TO THE GAME
Jets: Sanchez (shoulder) has an "80 percent" chance of playing Sunday, Ryan said. Backup Mark Brunell would get the call if Sanchez isn't well enough to start. ... S Eric Smith (concussion) won't play for the second consecutive week, Ryan said. CB-turned-S Dwight Lowery is expected to make his second consecutive start. ... OT Damien Woody (surgery on right knee) won't play for the second consecutive week, but he indicated it's possible he could play in the regular-season finale against Buffalo, particularly if the Jets still need a win to get into the playoffs. ... WR Santonio Holmes (turf toe) returned to practice Thursday and was limited, Ryan said, but Ryan believes he will play Sunday. ... P Steve Weatherford has been doing a good job with his directional punting this season, according to special teams coordinator Mike Westhoff.
