Last season the Bears signed ten undrafted free agents, but the addition of twelve draft picks the team's roster is already getting close to the 80 maximum.
Of the players the Bears signed last year DT Curry Dawson and WR Edell Shepherd are still with the club. Travis Coleman, who was signed before training camp, made the biggest impact of the undrafted group. He appeared in the last seven games of the season after being activated from the practice squad.
The Bears didn't sign Casey Urlacher, Brian's brother, but there is a chance that he will be given an extended tryout during the mini-camp. The Bears and Patriots have shown the most interest in the fullback/linebacker.
