In the past three years Curtis Enis and Cade McNown have missed part of training camp due to contract disputes. "There's always a concern about anyone who's not here," Jauron said. "It'll hurt him. He's got to be here to compete."
Terrell is expected to challenge Bobby Engram for the starting wide receiver spot opposite Marcus Robinson. Robinson and Engram are both returning from season ending injuries, but participated in the Bears June mini-camps.
The Bears signed their second and third round choices, in running back Anthony Thomas and guard Mike Gandy late Thursday. Gandy signed a three-year deal, while Thomas signed a four-year contract. They are both expected to be in Platteville for the start of practice Friday morning.
