During the Giants Super Bowl XLVI Championship run, the 6-2, 221-pound Thomas had two fumble recoveries (including one that set up the game winning field goal in overtime of the NFC Championship at San Francisco) and one special teams tackle while appearing in all four contests for New York.
In 55 career games played (11 starts) with the Washington Redskins (2008-10), Carolina Panthers (2010) and New York Giants (2010-11), the former second-round pick (34th overall) of the Redskins out of Michigan State has 43 receptions for 482 yards (11.2 ypr) with three touchdowns. He has added 23 special teams tackles, two forced fumbles, 1,445 yards on 60 kickoff returns (24.1 ypr) and a blocked punt.
