Worth the wait

The Bears announced two dates Monday for sales of individual-game tickets to the team's 2003 home schedule.

Tickets to the preseason games at Memorial Stadium in Champaign will go on sale through Ticketmaster beginning Saturday, July 19th, at Noon. A limited number of tickets to each regular season game will go on sale through Ticketmaster beginning Saturday, September 13th, at Noon.

All Ticketmaster sales are via phone and Internet only. Fans may charge by phone at (312) 559-1212, or on-line at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets are priced at $40.00 to $65.00 at Memorial Stadium and $45.00 to $85.00 at new Soldier Field. All ticket sales are subject to applicable service and handling fees. For regular season games, there is a limit of four tickets per game for each person, household or credit card number.

The Bears face the Indianapolis Colts on August 9th and the Denver Broncos on August 16th in preseason games in Champaign. Both games start at 7:05 PM. The Bears open new Soldier Field on Monday Night, September 29th, against the Green Bay Packers.

Wheelchair seating is available for each home game through Ticketmaster. Should the wheelchair seating allocation through Ticketmaster become exhausted, disabled fans are encouraged to proceed with the purchase of conventional seating - if available - then call the Bears ticket office to arrange an exchange.
