Bears sign McClellin; three D linemen

The Chicago Bears agree to terms with the club's first-round pick, DE Shea McClellin, as well as three defensive linemen.

The Chicago Bears have signed DE Shea McClellin to a four-year contract with a fifth-year option. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Bears selected McClellin with the 19th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft out of Boise State University. The 6-3, 260 pounder started 37 of 49 games played for the Broncos (2008-11), registering 130 tackles (64 solo), 20.5 sacks, 33.0 TFLs and four INTs, earning second team All-America and first team all-Mountain West honors as a senior.

McClellin is the fifth Bears selection from the Bears 2012 NFL Draft to sign with the team, joining WR Alshon Jeffery (2nd round, 45th overall), TE Evan Rodriguez (4th round, 111th overall), CB Isaiah Frey (6th round, 184th overall) and KR/CB Greg McCoy (7th round, 220th overall).

The Bears have also signed veteran free agents - DT John McCargo, DT DeMario Pressley and DE Cheta Ozougwu (Cheh-ta Oh-ZOO-Gwoo) - to one-year deals. Terms of each of those contracts were not disclosed.
