The Vikings held out hope of getting safety Mistral Raymond involved for the first time in over a month, but the ankle injury he suffered Sept. 23 against the San Francisco 49ers has him inactive again.
Safety Jamarca Sanford was expected to start either way, as the Vikings had concerns about Raymond's conditioning even if his ankle was ready for action. Sanford's forte is against the run, anyway, and the Seahawks have the league's second-leading rusher, Marshawn Lynch.
In addition to Raymond, the Vikings made QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson, WR Stephen Burton, WR Jarius Wright, LB Audie Cole, OL Mark Asper and TE John Carlson inactive.
That means the Vikings will enter the game with four active receivers and three active tight ends, including Allen Reisner, who was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday. He will join Kyle Rudolph and Rhett Ellison in the tight end corps.
The Seahawks' inactives are WR Braylon Edwards, S Winston Guy, CB Byron Maxwell, T Mike Person, G James Carpenter, DE Jason Jones and DT Jaye Howard.
