The good news is that Peppers was getting a routine veteran day off and Tillman is also expected to play.
"Charles didn't work today but he's expected to play," coach Marc Trestman said after practice. "We're going to ease him in this week and give him a little more tomorrow and Friday, but he's feeling good and we expect him to play."
The status of Bennett, who has been dealing with a shoulder injury the past month, for Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins is still up in the air.
"Martellus, we held him out today," said Trestman. "He did some work walking through with the team and moving around on the sidelines, did some individual. We'll see where he is tomorrow."
Anderson left last week's game with the back injury and Paea has been held the past two contests with turf toe. It appears both are on track to play on Sunday, as Trestman said both players "looked good. They were out there and they practiced." Wright's status is yet to be determined but the knee injury isn't expected to hold him out.
For the Washington Redskins, CB David Amerson (concussion) and DT Chris Nelid (calf) were limited. The following players were full participants: TE Fred Davis (ankle), LB Brandon Jenkins (ankle), C Will Montgomery (knee), CB Jerome Murphy (ankle) and TE Logan Paulsen (ankle).
