Bennett active; McClellin out for Bears

Chicago Bears tight ed Martellus Bennett will play today, while defensive end Shea McClellin will miss his second straight contest due to a hamstring injury.

Chicago Bears tight end Martellus Bennett, who was listed as questionable this week with an ankle injury, is active for today's game and will start against the Baltimore Ravens.

Here are Chicago's inactive players:

QB Jay Cutler
LB Lance Briggs
LS Patrick Mannelly
G James Brown
T Jonathan Scott
DT Jeremiah Ratliff
DE Shea McClellin

McClellin misses his second straight contest due to an ankle injury. Corey Wootton, who has started the last month at defensive tackle, will slide back outside and start in place of McClellin. At defensive tackle, Landen Cohen will get his first start of the season.

Josh McCown will start in place of Cutler, Khaseem Greene will start for Briggs and Jeremy Cain will take over for Mannellly.

The following players are inactive for the Ravens:

DT Haloti Ngata
WR Marlon Brown
WR Brandon Stokley
S Omar Brown
RB Bernard Scott
LB John Simon
C Ryan Jensen

The loss of Ngata is huge for the Bears, as the huge nose tackle is a space eater inside. Chicago should have much more success running the ball with Ngata out.

Brown leads the Ravens in touchdown catches (5) and is second on the team in receiving yards (307). Look for Baltimore to target WR Torrey Smith heavily, while RB Ray Rice should get extra looks in the passing game.
