Cutler ranks sixth in 2014 MVP odds

Vegas likes the potential this year of Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, giving him the sixth best odds of winning the NFL’s 2014 MVP award.

Most people around the NFL don’t like Jay Cutler – he was recently ranked one of the least-liked players in all of sports by Sports Illustrated – yet Vegas is high on the Chicago Bears quarterback entering his second year under Marc Trestman.

According to Bovada ( Cutler is a 20/1 favorite to win the NFL’s 2014 MVP award, which is sixth highest in the league. At the top of the list is last year’s winner Peyton Manning (3/1), followed by Drew Brees (11/2), Aaron Rodgers (15/2), Tom Brady (9/1) and Andrew Luck (16/1). Cutler is tied at 20/1 with Matthew Stafford.

The only other Bears player with MVP odds is Brandon Marshall at 66/1.
