Bears sign three to practice squad

The Chicago Bears have signed TE Blake Annen, CB Jordan Sullen and WR Chris Williams to the practice squad.

LAKE FOREST, IL – The Chicago Bears signed TE Blake Annen, CB Jordan Sullen and WR Chris Williams to the practice squad.

The 6-4, 247-pound Annen entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2014 out of Cincinnati. Collegiately, Annen appeared in 45 games for the Bearcats hauling in 19 receptions for 218 yards (11.5 ypr) and two touchdowns over four seasons (2010-13).

The 6-0, 200-pound Sullen entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Denver Broncos in 2014 out of Tulane. Collegiately, Sullen appeared in 45 games with 25 starts recording 96 tackles, three interceptions, one forced fumble and 20 passes defensed over five seasons (2009-13) with the Green Wave, redshirting in 2012.

Williams rejoins the Bears after being waived on Monday. He appeared in his first NFL game on Sunday night with Chicago. He spent the 2014 preseason with the team after the Bears signed him off the Saints practice squad during the final week of the 2013 regular season. Williams had four receptions for 94 yards, including a 73-yard touchdown this preseason while also handling three kickoffs for 81 yards (27.0 ypr).
