Marshall, Jeffery return to practice

Chicago Bears wide receivers Brandon Marshall (ankle) and Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) practiced in limited fashion today. View the full Thursday injury report below.

Chicago Bears wide receivers Brandon Marshall (ankle) and Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) did not practice yesterday but were limited participants today. Their return to practice bodes well for their chances of playing this weekend against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Also limited in practice were OL Eben Britton and T Jordan Mills. Both appear on track to play on Sunday.

DT Ego Ferguson (illness) and WR Josh Morgan (shoulder) were full participants. Morgan missed last week’s contest due to the injury.

WR Chris Williams (hamstring), DE Trevor Scott (knee) and LB Darryl Sharpton (hamstring) did not practice. DE Jared Allen also sat out, although his absence was not injury related.

A surprise addition to today’s injury report is CB Demontre Hurst (knee) who was not on yesterday’s injury report. Hurst has served as the club’s starting nickelback since Week 6.

For the Buccaneers, LB Lavonte David (hamstring) did not practice. David, the club’s starting middle linebacker, was a limited participant yesterday, so he took a step back today.

RB Doug Martin (ankle), RB Charles Sims (ankle) and CB Alterraun Verner (hamstring) were limited. Sims was not on yesterday’s injury report.
