Brandon Marshall out indefinitely

Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall has a lung injury and two broken ribs suffered in last night’s game against the Cowboys. He won’t play next week and his season could be over.

The Chicago Bears announced today that wide receiver Brandon Marshall has a lung injury and two broken ribs sustained in last night’s contest against the Dallas Cowboys. Marshall was taken to the hospital during the game, where he remains today due to the lung injury.

Marshall has already been ruled out for the Dec. 15 contest against the New Orleans Saints and it’s unlikely he’ll play again this year.

He suffered the injury in the first quarter after being kneed in the back by Cowboys safety Barry Church following a third-down catch.
