LAKE FOREST, IL – The Chicago Bears signed CB Al Louis-Jean to a two-year extension. His contract now runs through the 2016 season.
Louis-Jean appeared in nine games for the Bears during his 2014 rookie season, recording 11 tackles and one pass break-up on defense and one special teams stop. The 21-year old, Brockton, Mass. native entered the NFL with Chicago as an undrafted free agent out of Boston College.
Bears Hire Perry as Assistant Strength Coach
The Chicago Bears also reached an agreement with Rick Perry to become the team’s assistant strength coach. Perry has 20 years of experience as a collegiate strength and conditioning coach. Over the past five years (2010-14), Perry was the director of strength and conditioning at Central Michigan University. In that role, Perry organized the strength and conditioning efforts for all 16 CMU athletic programs while directly overseeing the football program. During his time at the school, Perry was certified as a Master Strength of Conditioning Coach by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association (CSCCa).
