Bears sign former Broncos QB Zac Dysert

The Chicago Bears have made roster moves, including the signing of quarterback Zac Dysert. The club's roster now stands at 75 players.

LAKE FOREST, IL — The Chicago Bears have claimed QB Zac Dysert (DYE-sert) and TE Gannon Sinclair off of waivers, placed RB Senorise Perry on the reserve/injured list and waived QB Shane Carden and G Lucas Nix.

Dysert entered the NFL as a seventh round selection (234th overall) of the Denver Broncos in 2013 out of Miami (Ohio). He spent the 2013 season on Denver’s active roster and the 2014 season on the Broncos practice squad.

Sinclair entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent this season with the Arizona Cardinals out of Missouri State. Collegiately Sinclair played in 24 games (20 starts) in two seasons at Missouri State recording 29 receptions for 361 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Perry led the team with 17 special teams tackles last season after entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Louisville.

Carden was an undrafted rookie free agent out of East Carolina.

Nix was signed by the Bears on August 24 after appearing in 15 games with 10 starts over two seasons (2012-13) with the Oakland Raiders.

The Bears roster is now at 75 players.
