Four Chicago Bears players did not practice today:
WR Eddie Royal (ankle)
LB Shea McClellin (knee)
CB Terrance Mitchell (hamstring)
S Antrel Rolle (ankle)
McClellin was carted off the field against the Kansas City Chiefs, so it's no surprise he didn't practice. Royal missed the game in Kansas City after not practicing all of last week. Rolle hasn't practiced since injuring his ankle against the Raiders in Week 4 and is expected to miss more time.
On the positive side for the Bears, left tackle Jermon Bushrod has been cleared from his concussion and returned to practice today in a limited fashion.
Here's the full list of limited participants:
WR Josh Bellamy (groin)
WR Alshon Jeffery (hamstring)
LT Jermon Bushrod (concussion)
OL Patrick Omameh (ankle)
DL Ego Ferguson (knee)
DL Jeremiah Ratliff (ankle)
DL WIll Sutton (elbow)
OLB Pernell McPhee (shoulder)
Jeffery was limited in practice last week as well but did not suit up for the fourth week in a row. Head coach John Fox said he's not anymore optimistic Jeffery will play this week than he was last week.
"Uh, not really," he said after practice today. "I watch him work out, listen to our trainers, listen to the doctors. When they deem them healthy to play football, then they play football."
