Ego Ferguson suspended four games by NFL

Bears defensive lineman Ego Ferguson has been suspended four games for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing drugs.

Bears defensive lineman Ego Ferguson, the club's second-round pick in 2014, has been suspended four games for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing drugs.

Ferguson, who is on season-ending IR, will begin serving his suspension immediately. The suspension will not carry over into next season.

Ferguson, the club's 2014 second-round pick, played four games this season, picking up three combined tackles. He had 23 total tackles and 2.0 sacks his rookie season.

This is the second Bears player in the past three days to be suspended for PED use, following rookie offensive tackle Tayo Fabuluje, who will also miss the next four contests.
