Alshon Jeffery misses second straight practice, listed as questionable

Alshon Jeffery and Matt Forte are questionable for Sunday's contest against the Broncos, as are two defensive starters, while one offensive line starter appears ready to return.

For the second straight week, Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (groin/shoulder) is listed as questionable. Although unlike last week, during which he was limited in practice, Jeffery has not practiced the last two days. Even if he's able to play, which appears unlikely, he'll be at far less than 100 percent.

RB Matt Forte (knee) missed yesterday's practice but returned in a limited fashion today. He's also questionable and will be a game-time decision.

If Forte can't play, Jeremy Langford will again be the club's primary ball carrier. And even if Forte does play, Langford will continue to be a big part of the offense.

Also questionable is ILB Shea McClellin (knee) and OLB Pernell McPhee (knee). McClellin practiced all week with a brace on his knee and should be good to go on Sunday. McPhee returned today for the first time in two weeks and was limited. His presence at practice today is a positive sign. He'll be a game-time decision.

C Hroniss Grasu, who has missed the last three games due to a neck injury, is probable and will return to action this week. S Antrel Rolle (ankle) and OT Jermon Bushrod (shoulder) are also probable.

WR Eddie Royal (knee) is out.
