Bears tight end Martellus Bennett will not play vs. Packers

The Chicago Bears have ruled out tight end Martellus Bennett for Thursday's game against the Green Bay Packers.

The Chicago Bears will be without the services of tight end Martellus Bennett (ribs) for Thursday night's contest against the Green Bay Packers. Bennett has been ruled out due to a rib injury suffered in last week's contest.

Expect Zach Miller to fill in for Bennett as the club's top tight end, as well as additional snaps for Khari Lee in two-tight-end sets.

Also out for the Bears are WR Eddie Royal (knee) and RB Ka'Deem Carey (concussion).

The following Bears are questionable:

RB Matt Forte (knee)
WR Alshon Jeffery (groin)
OLB Pernell McPhee (knee)
S Antrel Rolle (hamstring)
S Sherrod Martin (neck)
LB LaRoy Reynolds (knee)

Forte and Jeffery are expected to play, while Rolle is not expected to suit up.

Probable for the Bears are DL Jarvis Jenkins (chest) and WR Marquess Wilson (groin).

For the Packers, wide receivers Jared Abbrederis (rib/chest) and Ty Montgomery (ankle) have been ruled out.

The following Green Bay players are questionable:

DB Micah Hyde (hip)
C Corey Linsley (ankle)
DT Mike Pennel (quadricep)
CB Damarious Randall (hamstring)

The following Packers are probable:

WR Davante Adams (ankle)
T David Bakhtiari (knee)
T Bryan Bulaga (knee)
S Morgan Burnett (ankle)
LB Jayron Elliott (ankle)
RB Eddie Lacy (ankle)
G T.J. Lang (shoulder)
LB Clay Matthews (ankle/knee)
