Bears place Marquess Wilson on IR, ending his season

The Chicago Bears have placed wide receiver Marquess Wilson on Injured Reserve due to a foot injury.

The Chicago Bears elevated S Demontre Hurst and placed WR Marquess Wilson to the reserve/injured list due to a foot injury.

Wilson hurt his foot in Week 12 against the Denver Broncos and missed last week's contest against the San Francisco 49ers. He's appeared in 28 games over three seasons with the Bears, starting 13 contests, collecting 47 receptions for 617 yards (13.1 ypr) and two touchdowns.

Hurst has appeared in 18 games over two seasons with the Bears, recording 35 defensive tackles, one interception, one pass break-up and one forced fumble. He has added nine tackles on special teams. Hurst will wear No. 30.
