Alshon Jeffery, Pernell McPhee active for Bears

Bears receiver Alshon Jeffery and outside linebacker Pernell McPhee are active for today's game against the Vikings, while ILB Christian Jones is a healthy scratch.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (calf) and outside linebacker Pernell McPhee (knee) are active and will play today against the Minnesota Vikings. Both players were limited this week in practice, while Jeffery missed Thursday's session due to illness.

Also active today is tight end Zach Miller (ribs), who was questionable on the official injury report.

Here are the full inactives for the Bears:

CB Bryce Callahan
CB Jacoby Glenn
RB Antone Smith
ILB Christian Jones
OL Nick Becton
OL Tayo Fabuluje
WR Cameron Meredith

Jones, who was called "inconsistent" by defensive coordinator Vic Fangio this week, is a healthy scratch. He'll be replaced in the starting lineup by undrafted rookie John Timu, who was elevated from the practice squad this week

CB Sherrick McManis (concussion) is active and will likely fill in at nickelback for Callahan, although we may also see some of Demontre Hurst in the slot as well.

For the Vikings, the following players are inactive:

LB Anthony Barr
S Harrison Smith
DT Linval Joseph
QB Taylor Heinicke
WR Charles Johnson
C Nick Easton
T Jeremiah Sirles
