Chicago Bears top pick Leonard Floyd leaves practice due to illness

Chicago Bears first-round OLB Lenoard Floyd left the first practice of training camp today due to illness.

The Chicago Bears conducted the first practice of training camp this morning and first-round outside linebacker was carted off the field about an hour into the session.

Head coach John Fox said Floyd left due to illness.

"Leonard Floyd, he was sick," Fox said after practcie. "He tried to go. He's a tough kid. He just didn't make it through."

Fox said Floyd showed up to camp under the weather.

"He's been sick the last couple of days," said Fox. "He'll be fine."

OLB Roy Robertson-Harris and OT Nick Becton also left practice due to illness. TE Khari Lee did not finish due to a sprained AC joint in his shoulder.
