Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler responds to Brandon Marshall and Martellus Bennett comments

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler reacts to recent comments by former teammates Brandon Marshall and Martellus Bennett.

In a recent ESPN feature, Martellus and Michael Bennett took turns roasting NFL quarterbacks.

For Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, Michael said: "Worst quarterback in the NFL."

Martellus, who caught 90 passes from Cutler in 2014, said: "I'd be open and he'd throw into double coverage."

Cutler was asked today about his former teammates's comments.

"I don’t know. I’m really not gonna get into that," Cutler said. "Most receivers and tight ends are always open. So hopefully Tom [Brady] I guess can do a better job of finding him than I did."

In addition, Brandon Marshall recently said Cutler could MVP this season.

"You can’t please everybody," Cutler said laughing. "We’re at both ends of the spectrum here."

At the end of the day, Cutler took the high road.

"We wish both those guys good luck. I had fun playing with them here and that’s just kinda how it goes. Guys play for different teams, and we wish them both the best of luck."
