Chicago Bears WR Kevin White is active for the regular season opener

Former Chicago Bears first-round wide receiver Kevin White is active and will start the regular season opener against the Houston Texans. Full inactives below.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Kevin White is active for today's Week 1 matchup against the Houston Texans. White was limited in practice this week after injuring his hamstring on Wednesday.

Today's contest, in which White will start, will be the first regular-season action of his career, after he missed all of his rookie season due to a shin injury.

Also active for the Bears is G Kyle Long, who has been dealing with a shoulder injury for three weeks.

On the opposite side of the ball, CB Kyle Fuller (knee) is inactive. He's only three weeks removed from a knee scope, so it was unlikely he would play.

The Bears have declined to say who will start for Fuller. Jacoby Glenn and Bryce Callahan are the most likely candidates, while rookie Deiondre' Hall, who looked good in the preseason, could also get the surprise start.

Here are the full Bears inactives:

CB Kyle Fuller
DB Cre'Von LeBlanc
ILB Nick Kwiatkoski
C Eric Kush
WR Cameron Meredith
DL Will Sutton
S Deon Bush

For the Texans, the following players are inactive:

OT Duane Brown
QB Brandon Weeden
DL Brennan Scarlett
OT Oday Aboushi
WR Keith Mumphery
S K.J. Dillon
DL Joel Heath
