Chicago Bears re-sign LB Christian Jones

The Chicago Bears have re-signed versatile linebacker Christian Jones to a one-year contract.

The Chicago Bears have re-signed LB Christian Jones to a one-year deal. 

Jones, a 2014 undrafted free agent out of Florida State, has started 20 games for the Bears during three seasons in Chicago, both at inside linebacker and outside linebacker. 

He served as a depth defender last year, starting just two games, but he finished second on the team in special teams tackles (11), an area in which he has steadily improved. 

For his career, Jones has 170 total tackles, 2.0 sacks and 6 pass breakups.
