The Chicago Bears have re-signed four-year veteran CB Johnthan Banks.

The Chicago Bears have re-signed CB Johnthan Banks. 

From the official press release: 

Last season, Banks posted five tackles and one pass breakup in two games with Chicago. He also appeared in two games with the Detroit Lions and five games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Banks has appeared in 54 games with 39 starts over four seasons with the Buccaneers (2013-16), Lions (2016) and Bears (2016). He owns 137 tackles, seven interceptions, one interception returned for a score, 17 pass breakups and two TFLs.

Banks originally entered the NFL out of Mississippi State as a 2nd round pick (43rd overall) in the 2013 NFL Draft by the Buccaneers.
