Chicago Bears re-sign DL C.J. Wilson to a one-year deal

The Chicago Bears have re-signed veteran defensive lineman C.J. Wilson to a one-year contract.

Wilson has started 20-of-84 contests, totaling 122 tackles, 7.5 sacks, one pass breakup, one fumble recovery and 17 tackles for a loss in seven seasons with the Green Bay Packers (2010-13), Oakland Raiders (2014-15), Detroit Lions (2015) and Bears (2016).

Last season with the Bears, Wilson appeared in six games with one start, tallying 11 tackles, one sack and two tackles for a loss.

Wilson has also appeared in eight playoff games, notching 3 starts, 17 tackles and one tackle for a loss.

The East Carolina alum originally entered the NFL with the Packers as a 7th round selection (230th overall) in the 2010 NFL Draft.
