Urlacher wins award: Linebacker Brain Urlacher was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week following his performance against Atlanta (10/7). The honor is Urlacher's first weekly award after being named NFC Defensive Rookie of the Month in October last season. The 6-3, 244 pounder recorded five tackles, one sack, one interception, one forced fumble, a fumble recovery and his first career touchdown. With the Bears defense facing a first-and-goal from the Chicago 3, Falcon quarterback Michael Vick scrambled, was sacked and stripped of the ball by defensive end Phillip Daniels at the 12. Urlacher scooped up the ball at the 10 and ran untouched down the Falcons sideline for a 90-yard score.
