Key plays:
Defensive coordinator Greg Blache overloaded the line of scrimmage sending Mike Green and R.W. McQuarters on a blitz. Ahman Green picked up Green, but McQuarters came free and spun Favre around, while the quarterback remained on his feet he tried the ball away as Phillip Daniels closed the gap. The pass hung in the air and Lance Briggs made his first career pick and went untouched into the end zone. Extra point was good by Paul Edinger.

Key plays: A poor kickoff by Paul Edinger gave Green the ball at the 40. A 10-yard run by Ahman Green moved the ball into Chicago territory. Favre converted a third down and 10 with a 17-yard pass to Tony Fisher on a screen. The Bears defense stiffened up as the Packers moved inside the red zone. A deflection of a Favre pass in the end zone by Lance Briggs saved a potential score.

SECOND QUARTER: Longwell 37-yard field goal at 9:57.
Key plays: Following the Packer field goal Jerry Azumah fumbled the kickoff when David Martin stripped the ball. Bhawoh Jue recovered the ball at the Chicago 22. The Bears defense stopped the Packers from moving forward thanks in part to a replay that went in their way. Walker appeared to pick up a first down, but it was ruled that he trapped the ball and after a Green Bay challenge failed to overturn the call the Packers settled for another field goal.

Key plays:. A false start penalty on Marco Rivera put Green Bay in 1st-and-15, so Favre went to Robert Ferguson for 20 yards putting the ball near midfield. A 13-yard run by Najeh Davenport followed a 12-yard completion to Ferguson put Green Bay deep in Bears territory. Favre then went Walker, who beat Charles Tillman in coverage, for the score. Extra point by Longwell was good.

THIRD QUARTER: K Ryan Longwell 35-yard field goal at 6:52.
Key plays: A catchable Kordell Stewart pass was picked off by CB Mike McKenzie when Marty Booker couldn't haul in the ball. The turnover gave Green Bay the ball near midfield. The defense forced the Packers to settle for a third field goal, but it gave Green Bay their first lead.

Key plays: A 3rd-and-8 turned into a first down after Michael Haynes hit Brett Favre late, which resulted in a 15-yard personal foul call. Chicago held their ground following the rookie mistake, but the Bears decided to take a holding penalty after they would have forced Green Bay to kick a 52-yard field goal. Favre hooked up with Ferguson for 18 yards on third-and-20 and while it didn't give the Packers a first down it gave Longwell a shorter attempt.

Key plays: The Bears tried to answer back and moved the ball inside the red zone, but Stewart's third pick of the game proved to be the turning point. McKenzie stepped in front of an out route and had nothing in front of him but green. Two-point conversion good on pass from Favre to Bubba Franks.

Key plays: Green Bay took over on the Bears 1-yard line after a failed 4th down conversion. Extra point by Longwell was good.

FOURTH QUARTER: KR Jerry Azumah 88-yard kick return at 2:13.
Key plays: Azumah got to midfield and faked out Ryan Longwell and had one man to beat. Erwin Swiney gave a poor effort on a tackle that Azumah shook out of and went the distance for his second return for a score this season.
