The Bears offense didn't light up the world with Rex Grossman at the helm, but they did enough to win the game.
FIRST QUARTER: K Paul Edinger 38-yard field goal at 13:10.
Key plays: On Rex Grossman's first snap he went down field to Justin Gage, who got tangled up with Ken Irvin and the contact drew a pass interference penalty on the cornerback. The 33-yard penalty moved the Bears into Minnesota territory. Consecutive Anthony Thomas runs gave the Bears another first down. Another Vikings penalty gave the Bears another five yards and put Edinger in position to give Chicago the lead.

Extra point by Paul Edinger was good.

Bobby Gray failed to take down Daunte Culpepper on a blitz and the quarterback scrambled for a first down. Charles Tillman had a chance to pick off Culpepper, but couldn't come up with a tough catch. The Vikings converted a 4th down and 4 on the next play and went on to get three points.

The Bears picked up a first down on a Grossman to David Terrell pass that gave the offense first-and-goal. FOURTH QUARTER: WR Randy Moss 16-yard reception at 10:23.

Daunte Culpepper connected with Kelly Campbell for 14 yards. On the touchdown reception Jerry Azumah broke on the ball and just missed the pick, but that allowed Moss to run to the end zone untouched. Extra point was good by Aaron Elling.
