Drive he threw an interception. This time Kansas City turned great field position into points. On the first play from scrimmage Trent Green went to TE Tony Gonzalez 17 yards. Dick Vermeil decided to go for it on 4th and 1 from the 2 and Holmes leapt into the end zone giving him his 27th touchdown of the year, which is breaks the NFL record for total scores in one season. Key Plays: The Chiefs worst field position of the day didn't stop them from adding to their lead. The majority of Kansas City's offense came on penalties. Three members of the secondary drew flags that totaled 45 yards. Charles Tillman and Jerry Azumah were called for pass interference, while R.W. McQuarters was called for unsportsmanlike conduct for arguing the call on Azumah.
