Bears re-sign McMillon

The Bears didn't make any major signings on the second day of free agency, but the team did re-sign CB Todd McMillon to a one-year contract Thursday.

Terms of the deal have not disclosed at this time.

McMillon, a four-year NFL and Bears veteran, posted a career-high 12 special teams tackles in 2003 which ranked tied for fifth on the team.

The 5-11, 188 pounder out of Northern Arizona originally signed with the Bears in 2000, following three seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. He began both the 2000 and 2001 seasons on Chicago's practice squad but finished each year on the active roster and has played in 34 games with one start during the past four seasons, primarily on special teams.
