Roster Move

The Bears didn't make any major moves on Tuesday, but they did add depth at linebacker by claiming Lewis Moore off waivers from the New Giants.

Moore, an undrafted free agent out of the University of Pittsburgh, originally signed with the Giants on May 7 before being released on May 20. He started 33 of 48 games for the Panthers and was voted the team's defensive MVP in 2003. He tallied 137 stops and tied a career-high with 4.5 sacks. During his four years at Pitt Moore had 336 tackles, 36.5 of which were for loss.

The Bears might have gotten a scouting report from fifth-round pick DE Claude Harriott, who played with on the same unit as Moore.
