Scoring Summary: Bears 21, Packers 10

The Bears snapped their seven-game losing streak against Green Bay and in the process got their first victory of the year.

FIRST QUARTER: K Ryan Longwell 25-yard field goal at 9:02. The Packers came out and ran the ball on the first possession of the game. Ahman Green carried five times for 44 yards, including a 25-yard gain that Brett Favre help spring with a downfield block. The Bears defense forced Green Bay to settle for a field goal thanks in part to a false start by Chad Clifton Drive: 10 plays, 62 yards in 5:58. Packers 3, Bears 0.

SECOND QUARTER: FB Bryan Johnson 11-yard touchdown reception from QB Rex Grossman at 7:40. On the first play of the possession RB Thomas Jones burst into a Packer territory with a 19-yard run. Johnson followed with a 14-yard reception. The third first down of the drive came on a 13-yard reverse to Bobby Wade. It appeared the Bears would have to settle for a short field goal by Paul Edinger, but an illegal contact penalty on Bhawoh Jue gave the Bears a fresh set of downs and on the next play Johnson bowled over Michael Hawthorne in route to the end zone and first career touchdown. PAT by Paul Edinger was good. Drive: 7 plays, 65 yards in 3:13. Bears 7, Packers 3.

SECOND QUARTER: S Mike Brown 95-yard fumble return at 1:44. As Green Bay was on the verge of regaining the lead, Brian Urlacher stripped Ahman Green in the backfield and Brown scooped up the ball and the ball for the second longest fumble return in team history. It's Brown fifth career score, which is the most of any defender in team history. It's also the first turnover Urlacher has been involved in since Dec. 2002, a span of 18 games. PAT by Edinger was good. Bears 14, Packers 3.

THIRD QUARTER: RB Thomas Jones one-yard touchdown run at 11:31. Jones accounted for all 79 yards on the drive, including a 54-yard run on 3rd and one that put him at 100 rushing on the day. Although Al Harris caught from behind Jones, he capped the drive with three strong runs inside the red zone and scored for the third time this season. PAT by Edinger was good. Bears 21, Packers 3.

THIRD QUARTER: THIRD QUARTER: WR Robert Ferguson 18-yard TD reception from QB Bret Favre. Needing a score the Packers converted three downs, as well as a fourth down to get back into the game. A balanced drive resulted in nine rushes and ten passes. An offensive pass interference penalty on TE Bubba Franks negated a 16-yard touchdown and put the Packers in 2nd and 20. However Favre found Ferguson wide open in the end zone on 3rd and 12. It's Favre's 25th straight game with a touchdown pass against the Bears. PAT by Longwell good. Drive 19 plays, 89 yards in 9:45.
